One of the toughest jobs a photographer has is editing their own work. The brilliance of digital is that it has given photographers the ability to take unlimited pictures. The downside is that it's time-consuming to review photos upon returning from an expedition.

Wouldn't it be great to return from your travels and have a photo professional speed through your photos with a sharp eye? You will save time and end up with a select group of your best images.

For an hourly or project rate, I'll scan through your images and pull out or highlight the top photos, in three categories. You send me your trip on an external hard drive and I return it edited and organized. Or you can take it one step further and have me process and optimize your images as well.  

Make photo traveling fun again by relieving yourself of the burden of being shackled to your desk for hours and hours upon your return.

For years I watched and learned from the best "color monkeys" at National Geographic Society. I ran with what I knew, took classes and developed my own techniques using Adobe Photoshop to retouch images. 

Whether it be removing grass from a lion's face, restoring camera trap images, optimizing color or perfecting a wedding picture, I can do anything to maximize your photography's impact.

I use various features in Photoshop to balance color and contrast first, using levels and curves. Then I perfect shadows and highlights using various features and tools.  I can even bring out highlights in certain areas or deepen shadows to land the biggest impact. 

I can be of service for minor color work or retouching major imperfections. I love working with photographers to help bring out the best in your photos. I guarantee I can maximize the impact that your photos have on their viewers.

I've been reviewing photographer portfolios for over fifteen years, most prominently at North American Nature Photography Association summits and most recently at the New York City PhotoPlus Expo.
