I've had an eye for design since 9th grade, when I was named the layout editor for the high school yearbook, back when everything was done manually with wax pencils and a pantograph. I have always loved making sure text, photos and design elements are placed on a page in an aesthetically pleasing and eye-catching manner. Throughout my career as a photo editor, I have always maintained great relationships with the designers and art directors on my team and often collaborated on complex designs. Additionally, I have leant my design skills to help many nonprofits in creating marketing materials and logos. Additionally, I love reviewing proofs and tracking the design process from start to finish, whether it's for print or web publishing.
